Does agriculture represent 10%, 15% or 20% of GHG emissions in Europe?

In 2015, EU’s agricultural sector accounted for 10 % of the EU’s total emissions of green house gases (GHG).

Contribution of agriculture to total GHG emissions

The three GHGs are carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4). The first three contributors to GHG emissions in 2017 were the following economic activities : supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (21%), households (18%), manufacturing (16%).
