The Nutritional Physiology Society was established in 1953 and renamed the Nutritional Physiology Society in 1987. Their ultimate goal is to provide a discussion forum where scientists can discuss problems among themselves and work together to find solutions.
Primarily, as a basis for animal nutrition, evaluation standards for animal feed and nutrient requirements for livestock are developed and continuously updated. But all other current issues from the entire field of animal nutrition are treated.
